Our Manufacturing Operations teams are the people that make our products. We work in the manufacturing plants with a “Safety First, Quality Always” mindset striving for continuous improvement. We work in the local plant connected to our global manufacturing network to ensure the highest quality of raw materials, intermediates and finished products.

For our site in Krems, we are currently looking for a:

Project Management Specialist (m/f/d)

Main Responsibilities

  • Management of capital and noncapital projects at the Krems location from the idea to formal completion (including any submissions to authorities)
  • Responsible for the implementation of the projects in terms of time, costs and quality
  • Creation of quotation requests, orders and user requirement specifications
  • Coordination of external and internal service providers
  • Participation in the planning of new installations, changes and commissioning of technical systems
  • Ensuring timely project reporting to maintain deliverables
  • Moderation of workshops (kick off, stage gate reviews, lessons learned)
  • Support the Project Management Office in the continuous improvement of local processes and standards
  • Coach colleagues in project management basics and techniques
  • Act as an interface between PMO, Engineering and Operations
  • Ensuring compliance with EHS and cGMP regulatory requirements, standards and guidelines
  • Close collaboration with all key stakeholders in the area and at the location to achieve the goals (quality, operations, maintenance, finance, planning etc)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in (bio-)chemistry/process technology, biotechnology, engineering. Alternatively, completed training in pharmaceutical technology or comparable, or several years of professional experience
  • Technical acumen with the ability to translate complex technical information to various stakeholder across the site
  • Experience with capital projects or use of pharma equipment such as vessels, autoclaves, isolators, filling lines, etc.
  • Basic experience in project management and ability to manage complex projects
  • Knowledge of (bio)process technology
  • Practical experience using Lean and Six Sigma tools and techniques is an advantage
  • Relevant professional experience in a pharmaceutical company
  • Teamwork, innovative thinking, strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • English and German language skills

We offer an attractive salary, outstanding social benefits and an exciting work environment with varied tasks in an international environment. The minimum annual salary for this position is EUR 48.600,- and varies according to the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
