We are looking for a Technical Product Support Engineer (TPS) who will work as part of the Implant Global Product Support (GPS) team for Applied Materials, supporting colleagues and customer in Europe.

Your key responsibilities as a Technical Product Support Engineer (TSE):

• Provides advanced remote and onsite technical support to Global Field Service Organization (FSO) site team. Mainly supporting Legacy Implanters (xR & Quantum), VSE Leagacy (E500/VIISion), VIISta Series HVM & NPI (300mm and 200mm).
• Responsible for technical escalation support for entitled systems supporting FSO and iteam
• Acts as intermediary and field escalation focal point between customer and division by providing technical support and documentation to field engineers, technicians and product support personnel who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging equipment.
• Creates and reviews documentation covering technical lessons learned, Legacy field document updates and SME to the AGS knowledge management team.
• Presents at customer level.
• Provides Beta Site Support; specifically related to installation, operation, calibration, service and/or testing of a new hardware, software or processes on a customer tool for Legacy 200mm systems.
• Supports GPS in the review and update of documentation such as CENs and BKMs.
  
  

Your education and experience:

• Technician, Bachelor’s degree or similar education.
• At least 2 years of experience on Applied Materials Implanters VIISta, E500, VIISion, xR & Quantum is a must. Any added equipment experience that can contribute to the team is helpful. Five years Implant product experience is preferred.
• Troubleshooting skills, methodical problem solving, and excellent communication skills are a desirable attribute.
• Confident in German and English to work with colleagues and experts from all over the world. Company language is English.
• Willingness for international business trips up to 40%.
