In order to successfully implement our Borealis Strategy 2030, our Digital Solutions organization creates various new opportunities. Within our Digital Solutions department, we are looking for an IT Project Lead & Agile Facilitator who will focus on the manufacturing/operations area.

Regarding the position, you monitor the procedure of the assigned projects in line with the methodology of the selected project management approach. You mentor the Project Team to apply and follow best practices by facilitating and promoting collaboration and communication within and outside the team, as well as acting as a shield for the team from external interference and removing other obstacles. The role's emphasis may change based on the applied solution development methodology and project stage, encompassing both plan-driven and agile approaches.

Within plan-driven project stages, the role entails acting as a Project Lead and supervising the planning, management, and coordination of assigned projects. The goal is to deliver the desired outcomes within the agreed time, budget, and quality requirements, in accordance with established project standards.

During agile driven project stages, the responsibility is to serve as an Agile Facilitator, supporting the team in delivering the desired results and promoting synchronization among different teams. It is the role of the Agile Facilitator to ensure the correct implementation and maximize the benefits of the Agile process. Additionally, as part of the Project Team, they have joint responsibility for delivering the targeted result within the agreed time, budget, and quality requirements in accordance with the prescribed minimum project standards

About you

To be considered for this role you have a Master's degree or equivalent proven experience. You have 5-10 years of IT work experience, of which approximately 5 years dedicated to leading plan driven- and/or facilitating agile driven projects. A wide understanding of manufacturing/operations processes and demonstrated ability to enhance these processes is preferred.

Comprehensive understanding of IT solutions as well as plan-driven and Agile methodologies is needed for this role.

As a person, you are a strong analytical thinker and natural relationship builder with a focus on customers and results, with ethics always reflected in your choices and behavior.

Aside from excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills, you are known to be a born facilitator, influencer and coach, able to lead a team to self-organization. You are master English at a business level.
